“Dying is a wild night and a new road.”

― Emily Dickinson

work with me

I am here to walk alongside you, holding a brave space, helping you bid goodbye to your former self, finding your true north as you say hello to the new.

We don’t know when or how we are going to die, so our best tool is preparing ahead of time and being open to having difficult conversations. Ironically, avoiding these conversations causes us to lose the power to choose what we actually want our death to be like. Justine strongly advocates for early and authentic planning around end-of-life, as it opens the door for clients and their loved ones to be with death in a wholehearted way.

In her role as a death doula, Justine provides support, empowerment, and logistical planning for the dying and their caregivers or loved ones. This includes navigating the emotional, practical, legal, and spiritual issues that arise when facing the end of life. Her work spans advance care planning, healthcare directives, funeral and body disposition decisions, and Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) support. She offers informed, non-judgmental guidance to individuals considering or pursuing VAD, helping them and their families understand the process, prepare necessary documentation, and stay emotionally supported throughout. She also supports families with after-death care, home vigils, and ritual planning.

Her fundamental belief is that all individuals have a right to die and grieve feeling fully supported. With a big-hearted work ethic and years of palliative care experience, Justine is an exceptional guide to those facing end of life.

Let’s begin to shift the emotional stronghold and societal stigma around death and dying, creating a cultural transformation in how we approach serious illness, caregiving, grief, and the end of life. Fear doesn’t prevent death—it prevents a full life.

“We never really know what’s next but I will be with you for it.”

Whether you're planning ahead, actively dying, caregiving, or grieving, Justine offers informed, compassionate, and grounded guidance through the entire process.
